Paul and Lizzie Mercer purchased an established jam and chutney manufacturing business and had ambitions to create a family legacy through a branded range.
We focussed on their individual motivations: Paul the entrepreneur and passionate foodie and Lizzie the grounded businesswoman.
We illustrated comical caricatures of the couple to celebrate their personalities and the story behind the brand and incorporated these into the simplicity of the label design.
They launched to great success supported by their personal delivery of an in-store tasting programme, bringing the story to life. They gained early listings with national supermarkets alongside many independents and continue to develop their range, their brand, and their business growth.
